Damages whilst an inevitable hazard within the construction and surveying industry are nonetheless an unwelcome and unbudgeted cost. At Survey & Laser we try to make the notification and costs of any damages as painless as possible for our customers.
It is always our intention to identify and inform customers of any damages within 72 hours of equipment returns, if not sooner.
Damage notifications can be sent via fax or email according to your individual customer preference. Whilst not all damages may be immediately or visibly obvious, we do offer the facility for customers to be provided with photographs of damages by email whenever possible.
Repair costs are notified at “Fair Deal” levels and we also offer advice and / or training on the prevention of future avoidable damages. In the case of major / costly damages the opportunity is given to customers to physically inspect the equipment within 7 days before any repairs are commenced.
